Laura Espinoza-Pajuelo
Project Coordinator, Quality Evidence for Health System Transformation in Latin America and the Caribbean Network, Peru
Researcher and public health educator with a background in Health Management and a Master’s in Clinical and Sanitary Effectiveness. She is dedicated to enhancing health care quality and equity across Latin America. She leads the Non-Communicable Disease E-cohort Project under the QuEST LAC Network, in collaboration with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, she serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and collaborates as an early-career researcher with The Lancet Commission on Cancer and Health Systems. Her work, particularly in peri-urban communities, has earned her recognition from CONCYTEC as one of Peru’s top young female scientists. She was recently selected to be part of the 2024 cohort for the Emerging Voices for Global Health Program by Health Systems Global in Nagasaki, Japan.
