Dr. Luiza Helena Falleiros Arlant
Dr. Luiza Falleiros graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná - Brazil (1970), and earned her PhD in Applied Sciences Pediatrics and Medicine at the Federal University of São Paulo (1995)-UNIFESP. She has worked for many years in the Emilio Ribas Institute of Infectious Diseases and currently is an Associate Professor Doctor Discipline Coordinator of Infectious Diseases, Faculty of Medicine of Marília (FAMEMA and Professor of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Universidad Metropolitana de Santos ( Unimes).
She has extensive experience in medicine, with emphasis in pediatrics, especially on the following topics: Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Vaccines, Immunization and Vaccination. She has the Titles of Specialist in Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases Specialist, and Specialist in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Previously acting as a member of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics and Member of the Committee on Infectious Diseases Pediatric Society of São Paulo. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (SLIPE) and currently serves as Vice-President of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (SLIPE). She is widely published and considered a Key Opinion Leader from Brazil.
