Keith Mintzer, Ph.D. is a program officer in the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institutes Center for Translation Research and Implementation Science in the US and an artist. He is an advocate implementation science and keenly interested in the art science relationship. His formal scientific training is in developmental biology with an emphasis on genetics. He has been working at the NHLBI for over twenty years first as a scientific review officer and now as a program officer. His areas of interest include global implementation science, HIV comorbidities, training of extramural scientists and clinicians, also well as the connection between the arts and science.
