Workshop: Antimicrobial Resistance in Latin America and the Carribean
The Antimicrobial Resistance workshop was held from November 18 to 20, 2020 virtually by the Global Health Consortium at the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work, bringing experts from all over the world to discuss the threat to health care's most powerful tool: antimicrobials (AM). Antibiotic-resistant infections, also called antimicrobial resistance (AMR) have been rapidly increasing. This seminar addressed the crisis and fostered a discussion with key experts in the field about the new developments and innovative approaches to combat it.
